Therefore; hundreds of people, filmmakers, writers, politicians, sportspeople and personalities worldwide  share the grief and sorrow for the death of the “Christ of the Poor,” “The warrior of light,” “The Liberator of these days and times,” who has ceased to exist and become immortal, in the eyes of the most noble  of this planet.

altI have not stopped remembering the occasion when at five pm on March 5th the cell phone rang and I heard the heartbreaking piece of news when I was travelling through the Palma Soriano town to the Tercer Frente municipality.

“Listen, Carlos. It is being aired in the Telesur network that Chavéz has just passed away.” It was the voice of my brother-in-law, José Manuel, who does know the admiration I have felt in respect of that man who has left sad the best part of mankind.
