The documentary "Es verdad...lo esta diciendo Radio-Reloj"( It's true, Radio Reloj is spreading the news), the first audiovisual work inspired in the emblematic Radio Reloj radio station that has been on the air for 66 years, was premiered to a large crowd of journalists, executive, editors and announcers who work 24 hours a day in this radio station.

Fernando Borrego Linares was his birth name but it was his artistic name what described him best: Montañez (a slightly altered spelling of montañés, Spanish for mountain dweller). I remember he rose to fame when I was barely old enough to wear shoes. A few months later, everyone in our zone knew his songs. I was able to sing his hit "Un montón de estrellas" by heart but lacked his intonation and grace.

Vilma passed away through one of those delicate paths she cleared for Cuban women during many difficult years.
