The presence of  Cuban physicians in Brazil with the objective of putting in practice that nation's government policy to extend the health care services coverage, is a very effective way of implementing the South-South cooperation.

When I was a child, my father told me he kept in his green “memory chest” a pamphlet that was out of my reach because it was a “gem.” My curiosity lasted for years until one day I managed to lift the worn-out lid and take the little yellow pamphlet out. It was “History will Absolve Me,” by Fidel Castro. Next to it was a big book called “Moncada,” written by Marta Rojas.

When the caravans organized by the Pastors for Peace go across the borders of the United States of America and Mexico with their precious cargo of love and solidarity, many honest people all around the world take a deep breath in relief.
