Anecdotes, acknowledgments, poems, songs and much happiness raised the issue on Sunday at the program of Radio Rebelde, ¨La luz en lo oscuro¨ which for more than 12 years was a a bridge of communication and awakened consciences in the world to join the fight for justice and the release of The Five.

The control card is an essential element in planning radio programming as it includes a set of indicators that profile a radio show. Two of these indicators are closely related and complementary: function and purpose.

The reorganization process of the radio programming done by the System of the Cuban Radio was an important step to eliminate the fragmentation of contents in different stations and provide a more rational, economic and consistent programming that is more organized and efficient in the transmission of messages aimed at satisfying the interests of dissimilar audiences. A superior organization that promote practical approaches on issues, forms, functions and target audience and cuts expenses by increasing live programming.

This adjustment process of radio programming significantly decreased the number of short programs, many of which became sections of programs of longer duration, stepping up the creation process, as in the case of variety shows.
