Representatives of Cuba and the United States signed in Havana a Memorandum of Understanding to reestablish regular commercial flights after a five decades hiatus.

US Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx and Cuba´s Minister of Transportation Adel Yzquierdo presided over the ceremony where the groundbreaking document was penned.
