Palestinian FM's Ratifies Friendship Ties with Cuba
The official visit by Palestinian Foreign Minister to Cuba, Riad Al-Malki, ratified the traditional ties of friendship and solidarity between the two nations.
As part of the comprehensive working agenda he carried out, the Palestinian foreign minister met with his peer, Bruno Rodriguez, during which the positive state of bilateral relations were verified.
They also reiterated their commitment to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation.
For his part, Rodriguez ratified the solidarity and traditional position of Cuba towards the respect of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
In addition, Al-Malki thanked the solidarity shown toward his people for this country.
We feel great proud in Palestine of the support we have long received from Cuba in different international events and forums, and have come here to show solidarity with the Caribbean island, he said.
About this issue, he added that Cuba's support to Palestine is constant, permanent, characterized by its great commitment and based on principles of solidarity, and "we wanted to be here to thank the Caribbean nation through all that and to see how we can keep getting better and further developing bilateral relations," he added.
