No deaths in Cuba from Covid-19, 29 new cases and 27 recovered

The Ministry of Public Health reported 29 new cases of Covid-19 today and 7,538 PCR tests were carried out for their detection, as part of a strategy to increasingly identify infections.
In a press conference to update on this situation, the National Director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, explained that a total of 643 thousand 701 tests have been carried out since the detection of the first cases last March 11.
The specialist also reported that of the 29 confirmed with the virus, 28 are Cuban citizens and one recently arrived foreigner, 26 constitute contacts of confirmed cases, and 16 of them were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis.

It is appalling to realize that, seventy five years after the criminal bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there are approximately 13 400 nuclear weapons, of which nearly 1 800 are in operational alert and 3 720 have been already deployed. More than of these belong to the United States. That country keeps the highest number of these weapons ready to be used and is the only one in the world that has dropped two atom bombs.
