Foreign Minister will present annual report on the impact on US blockade Thursday

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, will present at a press conference on Thursday, October 22, Cuba’s Report on the impact of the US blockade policy during the last year.
The presentation of the Report will be held from the Foreign Ministry's headquarters, in the face-to-face and virtual formats, complying with the health measures established for the confrontation with the COVID-19.
Third governmental visit to Santiago de Cuba

Díaz-Canel, together with his work team, began this Thursday the third cycle of governmental visits to the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, after a seven-month impasse imposed by Covid-19.The visit seeks to evaluate the economic and social results of that province , a debt that was truncated at the beginning of March.
With a reduced format and adapted to the 'new normality' and restrictions by Covid-19, the members of the Council of Ministers, in different working groups, will tour the Desalination Plant of Boca de Cabañas, the automation works of Santiago Aqueduct and the investments of Hydraulic Resources in Palma Soriano and in that city.
Diaz-Canel: Monetary ordering will guarantee fewer obstacles in Cuba's economy

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel recently assured that the monetary reordering will guarantee fewer obstacles in the economic and social strategy being implemented in the country.
Speaking on Cuban television, along with Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, the president noted that the monetary unification and the wage, pension and price reforms are among the main issues in the strategy.
'Monetary and exchange unification is not a magic solution to our economic and financial problems, but it should lead to increasing labor productivity and a more efficient performance by the productive forces,' the president pointed out.
