Iván Pérez Ramírez: A fully integrated Radio Worker
During my professional career for over forty-years, I have had the great honor to meet by reference, but mainly in person, a lot of men and women of great talent who work in the radio in various specialties, and they have done their work in the media very successfully. However on this occasion, I’d like to write about a figure, who since he was a child, has felt a great attraction to the world of the sound; a child that used to dream of those voices of artists he used to listen on the radio. A little boy who once entered a radio station called Cuban Radio Havana to attend a live broadcast - at the age of four - and was so fascinated that he decided to work in the radio, and has stayed there for 62 years. His name is Ivan Perez Ramirez.
Victor Moreno: His legendary work in the radio
Evo Eon Montero Mendoza is not known on the radio stations in the eastern provinces of Cuba by his name, but when one says Victor Montero, an unusual glow appears in the listeners in this area of Cuba
He was granted with great fairness, for his tremendous achievements through more than 60 years, NATIONAL RADIO AWARD FOR HIS WORKLIFE.
Milagro Hernandez Cuba: Journalism and friends, two treasures
I met her one day in 1985, I can not remember if it took place in the corridors of Radio Rebelde and Radio Havana Cuba, as one of the many journalists who decided to join the wonderful world of radio.
I, like her, despite my long experience for 16 years as a broadcaster, journalist and director of provincial radio and television, had the feeling of venturing myself for the first time, because it is not the same to hold a provincial profile than upholding a responsibility and making decisions with a national impact.
