Rosalia Arnaez was born in 1954, she is a bachelor in Journalism at the Havana University. She always loves music and made a course of music and dramatic arts. Afterwards, she started working as an actress in the artistic group of the Armed Revolutionary Forces.

During 25 years she worked as announcer and presenter of the Cuban Television programs such as the National Television News, the program Estilos and has also been the presenter of shows and artistic galas transmitted by the Cuban Television as well as May 1st parades and mass meetings. Arnaez is considered one of the best Cuban presenters and announcers.

This outstanding professional has also represented our nation in television programs in Mexico, Bulgaria and the German Democratic Republic. Furthermore, she has been elected to be a deputy to the Legislative Body of the National Assembly of the People’s Power. Arnaez also participated in an internationalist mission in the Republic of Angola as member of an artistic delegation of the Revolutionary Armed Forces. She has been the president of the Evaluation Commission of the Cuban Television.

Rosalia was one of the delegates to the World Youth Festival in Moscu, Soviet Union, she was granted with the Internationalist Combatant Medal, a replic of Máximo Gomez’s machete, the Distinction for the National Culture and the Distinction August 23 granted by the Federation of Cuban Women.
