Understanding social processes through the media is a way of knowing history. Based on this assumption, the act of transmitting messages in its different forms is a way of grasping the knowledge, identification and sensitivity of the people who transmit them.

For several days the idea was going through my head. It would be my first professional journalistic work. I had been charged to make an interview. It was a huge commitment. I spent whole days researching.

Cuban Jose Antonio Casimiro has become internationally known in the world of farming for his use of ecological techniques and permaculture to preserve with his family one of the nation's most outstanding farm and contribute to sustainable development. He gets up at five o'clock everyday to milk the cows, when he tunes in to program Haciendo Radio. El Noticiero Cantado, is one of his favorite programs, encouraging him to have a good day: “The radio is part of the sun that brightens my farm.”

Casimiro is not only a advent radio listener, he is also a communicator who speaks by Radio Sancti Spiritus with the people of his province through a program called "Habla Casimiro"in  the Revista Ganadera.
