Casimiro, the farmer on the radio

Cuban Jose Antonio Casimiro has become internationally known in the world of farming for his use of ecological techniques and permaculture to preserve with his family one of the nation's most outstanding farm and contribute to sustainable development. He gets up at five o'clock everyday to milk the cows, when he tunes in to program Haciendo Radio. El Noticiero Cantado, is one of his favorite programs, encouraging him to have a good day: “The radio is part of the sun that brightens my farm.”

Casimiro is not only a advent radio listener, he is also a communicator who speaks by Radio Sancti Spiritus with the people of his province through a program called "Habla Casimiro"in  the Revista Ganadera.
